Start an Event
Overview
After you've created your group and gathered some members, you can choose to start an event and invite your members or any user on the platform to participate.
You can choose whether it is free or paid to attend, just a reminder, if the event is paid to attend, you will have to sell the tickets in both $SOL and $VOOVOO, and a % handling fee will be collected to fuel the development of Hang OOut
You can choose whether it is an online event or an IRL event. Online events tend to attract more users as there is no geographic limitation.
How to Start an Event?
On your group management page, click on "Create event"
Choose whether it is free or paid to attend and whether it is an online event
Enter the name for the event
Write a brief introduction to the event, such as the history of the event, the origin of the event, etc.
Choose the time and location.
Select the keywords of the event, such as party, football, rock climbing, etc. You could select tags from our list or input any tag you want, the purpose of it is for others to find your event more easily. Profanity and hostile languages are not allowed.
Choose 3 photos that best represent your event and upload
Awaiting for approval
After approval, members of your group will be automatically invited to participate and will be displayed on our official website to attract more users.
