# Start a Group

## Overview

Start an interest group allows users near you to see you and join your group, so you can make many friends with shared interest.&#x20;

Note: **ONLY** holders of our verified NFT projects (such as <mark style="color:green;">**vOOvOO Club**</mark> itself) are eligible to start a group.

## How to Start a Group?

If you want to create an interest group, you will need to enter the following information:

1. &#x20;Name of your group&#x20;
2. A brief introduction to the group, including what you do, what activities you will host, etc.&#x20;
3. Location&#x20;
4. Keywords/tags of the group, such as: basketball, video games, yoga, hiking, etc. You could select tags from our list or input any tag you want, the purpose of it is for others to find your event more easily. Profanity and hostile languages are not allowed.
5. A photo that best represents your group&#x20;
6. Discord link (required) to facilitate communication among group members&#x20;
7. Twitter account (if available)
